About Us
It all started in 2002 when Peter Wiebe Sr. started building trailers in a tiny shop in his backyard. Word got around and farmers began coming to him for equipment repairs and machining needs. In order to serve them better, he made the decision to build a bigger shop in 2004 which then lead to him welcoming his son Pete Wiebe Jr. as his first team member.
Soon after, a client walked in the door with a need for a large scissor lift on tracks that would allow his crews to continue working throughout the seasons, in muddy and rough terrains. This was a unique challenge and Wiebe’s Welding was excited to rise to the occasion. It was 2005 when the Track Lift was born.
As the story goes on, traditional farmers converted into greenhouse farmers and therefore came in with more complex machining needs. Wiebe’s Welding expanded yet again to meet the needs of the clients.
In 2009 a bigger shop was built. From conveyors to complete packing lines, crop shredders and water filtration systems. The greenhouse and agricultural industries were rapidly changing and Wiebe’s Welding was there to help them customize their equipment and keep up with these changing times.
More than a decade has gone by and the team has grown, and so have their capabilities. Wiebe’s Welding is now a full service Fab Shop with the ability to handle projects large and small. Serving not only the agricultural industry but the automotive industry as well as many others.
Today, our goal is still the same, to continue improving and serving our clients to help them do the same. Expanding has allowed us to take on more complex projects, yet we still have full control over the quality and standards we have delivered from day one.
Wiebe’s Welding understands you have unique needs and we look forward to rising to the challenge of meeting those needs together.
